Dear Todd,
Just a little over a year ago, you sent me the name of a man in Deer Trail, Colorado, to consider contacting. I sent Don (Helling) a short note and he replied. After just a few notes through your site, we exchanged e-mail addresses. Feeling that I didn't want Don to know my complete name, I gave him my business address. For the next three weeks, all was quiet....not a word from Don. Then I noticed that I didn't have any messages from business associates, either during those three weeks. Upon checking with my Internet provider, I discovered that somehow my business address had been deleted from my computer and that there were 62 messages waiting! One of those messages was from Don. Of course, since I hadn't replied, he thought I had decided not to continue writing. I had thought the same about him.
The typical story followed....more letters, then phone calls, then a marriage proposal over the phone, a person-to-person visit and a wedding in my home at Wasilla, Alaska.
None of that sounds too unusual, except perhaps the part about the lost e-mail service on the business address. However, strangely enough, Don never completed his registration to become part of your program. Somehow, his name appeared just long enough for us to connect. Through several efforts on his part, he just couldn't establish a complete registration so he gave up. Weeks later, I discovered that Don had not even seen my profile, but that he just liked what he read in my letters.
Don is 63 years old, a handsome man, 6'2" tall, a man of deep faith, a talented writer, though not yet published, former artist, former rancher and real estate broker. The unusual addition to all of that is that Don had never been married and is quadriplegic, confined to a wheelchair. At the age of 18, Don contracted Polio and it left him quite unable to use his limbs. Nevertheless, he kept a strong faith, an adventuresome spirit and a positive attitude. Can you imagine getting married for the first time at age 63, leaving the home that was designed for your disability, moving to Alaska, AND becoming father to my then 11 year old adopted daughter?
Don and I have a wonderful marriage. His kindness, love and patience outshine any man I have ever known. He takes a keen interest in raising "our" daughter and continues with his adventuresome spirit. We have been married going on 9 months now and celebrate each month's anniversary as if it were a year. That way we are always celebrating, and will be able to experience not only a 25th anniversary, but possibly a 50th! (When you are 57 and 63 it's a little doubtful that you will get to celebrate a great deal of years, so I recommend counting the months as if they were years!) We do know that it was by God's hand that we found each other. There is such peace between us. The Internet and especially your web site are the means God used to help us find each other. We really can't think of any other way we might have met. We know that we are fortunate and greatly blessed.
God bless you, Todd. We appreciate your dedication to helping Christian men and women find good friends and godly mates. We are so happy!
Yours in Christ, Lorraine (Blatter) Helling (Wasilla, Alaska) |

Dear Cybergrace:
I have been trying my hardest to find a way to write directly to the founder of Cybergrace and the web master dating service. I would like to share some exciting news...
In a moment of silliness I found your web site and filled out a profile. At the end of the profile it said " Find my perfect match" I thought to myself " yeah, right!! Find my perfect match" I have been single for 7 years and thought there was just not a good single man anywhere. Howver, I hit the button to indeed find my perfect match.
Well, on the same day ( God's timing) a wonderful man filled out his profile and without knowing exactly what he was doing he sent it into your system. He tells me now he never intended his information to go to any match making service.
When I hit find my perfect match and he hit the button on the same day we came up on each others emails. Through your dating service we met, talked via your service and eventually talked in person and met. Through a wonderful courtship we discovered we were indeed the perfect match for one another.
We were married and have never been happier.
We wrote our own vows and were married in the chapel his parents were married in.
My husband is a perfect husband. He is kind, gentle, funny, talented ( musically ) and loves the Lord with all of his heart. I have never been happier in my entire life and I owe it all to you and God! I just thought you would enjoy hearing a success story
I have pictures I would love to share with you and we have shared your match making service information with many. Truly, you helped me find my perfect match!!
Thank you
